Crystal Lyon is an Upstate New York-based interdisciplinary artist. She holds a Associate in Graphic Design from Tompkins Cortland Community College, a Bachelor of Fine Arts in New Media Design and Art History from the State University of New York at Cortland and a Master of Fine Art in Motion Picture and Television with a concentration in Production Design from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Crystal has a wide range of experience in art video, installation, painting, illustration, graphic design, filmmaking, mural design, mixed media and writing.

 

Currently, Crystal is writing her first fantasy novel inspired by participating in NaNoWriMo and an illutrated children's book. She also is working on a series of paintings based on the four seasons and dreams. Creatively, she is influenced by Eastern ideas of meditation while hardwired in Western tradition tapping into creative flow.
